🐴 Introductory Riding Package: Stable Start (4 Lessons)

Get a comprehensive, hands-on introduction to the world of horses! Our "Stable Start" package is designed to build confidence both on the ground and in the saddle, providing all the fundamental knowledge needed before moving into regular riding lessons.

Package Details

This package includes four (4) one-hour lessons that cover the essential foundations of horsemanship and basic riding.

1: Horse Care & Grooming Safety around horses, understanding basic horse behavior, proper grooming techniques, basic health and care checks.

2: Tacking & Preparation Identifying and using parts of the bridle and saddle, correct methods for putting on and taking off tack (tacking up/untacking).

3: First Ride & Control Correct mounting and dismounting, achieving a balanced riding position, basic steering, and starting/stopping the walk

.4: Assessment for moving up

Student can properly groom, tack and demonstrate proper ground skills. Student can demonstrate proper techniques for blanketing (seasonal), putting the horse away safely, and post-ride care. Student will either be graduated to a beginner level class - or enjoy a second round of the introductory package.

A rider can only advance if they are able to achieve all elements in the introduction class on their own.

This package is offered as a private or semi-private lesson to ensure maximum safety and personalized attention.

    • Total Package Cost (4 Lessons): $260 due prior to arrival on the first day

  • Sibling/Group of 2 Riders (Semi-Private Lesson):

    • Price: $60 per person, per lesson

    • Total Package Cost (4 Lessons): $240 per person
